At GoToPhotoTour, we believe that photography is not just about taking pictures; it’s about capturing moments, emotions, and stories that unfold in the most remarkable scenes our planet has to offer. Our mission is to guide and inspire you to develop your photography skills while enjoying the wonders of nature.
Led by a team of highly skilled and experienced photographers, we organize photography tour and photography workshops and expeditions that take you to some of the most stunning locations worldwide. From mountain ranges to coastlines, from l rainforests to deserts, we curate extraordinary journeys where every step is an opportunity to capture the essence of the natural world.
Our workshops are designed for photographers of all levels, whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the basics or an experienced seeking to improve your techniques. Through personalized instruction and learning sessions, we help you unlock your creative potential.
 
We understand that each destination offers unique challenges and opportunities. That’s why our expert guides not only provide technical expertise but also share their knowledge of the locations we visit, including cultural insights and tips.

About us

Giulio & Safae

Our story began in 2010 when we met by chance on New Year’s Eve in Milan, just five minutes before the stroke of midnight. Those 20 minutes of chatting and toasting changed our lives forever. When two very similar souls meet, wonderful things happen. Both lovers of travel, exploration, and possessing an extremely curious mindset, we immediately liked each other.
 
Initially, we lived in Italy, near Bologna, and before dedicating ourselves to landscape photography, we had a business that kept us busy for 13 hours a day, 7 days a week. Despite loving our work, we couldn’t bear the idea of being confined within four walls all day long, with very little time to spend with our family and our passion. This feeling of discomfort led us to a very difficult decision, to change our lives and start over from scratch, in a new country, a new language, new habits, but with the project and commitment to create a business that revolves around our passion for travel and photography.
 
So, in 2017, after various van and backpacking trips, exploring all of northern Europe, we decided to move to Norway, a place that had always fascinated us for its tranquility, culture, and magnificent landscapes. Our first stop, where we moved together with our 9-month-old son Ryan, was Alesund, a beautiful and unique city in southwestern Norway. Then, a year later, we decided to move further north, to the Lofoten Islands, the archipelago of dreams, where in 2021, our daughter Eileen was born, and we could carry on our project, being inspired by the Arctic landscapes.
 
Right here, we founded Gotophototour, our landscape photography school that organizes photographic journeys to the most beautiful places in the world.

Hello, I am Giulio Cobianchi, a full-time landscape photographer and co-founder of Gotophototour. Passionate about travel and photography, especially nightscapes photography, I enjoy combining these two elements by exploring and capturing landscapes where wild nature shines at its best. Through Gotophototour, I can pursue my passion, share it with others, and guide them to discover and immortalize the most fascinating places in the world.

Co-founder & Content Manager

Hello, I’m Safae, an adventure lover based in the Lofoten, a wonderful archipelago in northwest Norway. With a deep love for sports and a thirst for exploration, I enjoy venturing into the wonders of nature and discovering new landscapes. As a co-founder of Gotophototour, I handle some responsibilities, including administration, collaborations, and content creation. Through my writing, I love sharing my travel experiences to virtually introduce you to the places I’ve visited before.

Mikkel Beiter

Hello, I am Mikkel Beiter, a self-taught photographer who has gained international recognition over the past couple of years. My work has been featured in media outlets like National Geographic, BBC News, BBC Earth, Lonely Planet, The Guardian, The Daily Mail, and The Sunday Times. I am a 35-year-old landscape, travel, and wildlife photographer from Copenhagen, Denmark. My great passion lies in landscape and wildlife photography. To achieve my goals and challenge myself, I often spend my holidays traveling to different parts of the world with my camera. I have spent a significant amount of time in Africa to get close to the African wildlife. When it comes to landscape photography, I really enjoy the vast and beautiful landscapes within the Arctic Circle, especially the Lofoten archipelago in Norway.

Joaquín Marco

Hello, I’ am Joaquín Marco, a professional musician and landscape photographer from Basque Country. My interest in photography started a few years ago, testing techniques with a very old digital camera, but it wasn’t until August 2018 when I bought my first camera. With a Northern Lights image I took one year after starting with photography, I was selected as one of the best Northern Lights photographers of 2020, being my work published in The Guardian, National Geographic and the BBC. Just two years after starting with photography I was shortlisted as finalist in the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards in the landscape category, in 2021. In recent years, I have been traveling and exploring the wildest places on the planet, letting nature inspire my art.
